It is my honor to endorse Linda Tighe-Helton for school board trustee. Linda is a retired teacher and can bring that perspective to the school board and administration. Linda is dedicated to making sure our high schools are top quality and meet the needs of different types of learners. Linda supports and understands the importance of developing an alternative high school program at the El Molino campus along with supporting Analy, Laguna and our on line academy. Please help to keep our high schools moving forward and vote for Linda! — Julie Aiello
School board president
I endorse Linda Tighe-Helton for School Board. Linda brings a wealth of experience as a school teacher and union representative. Her family has deep roots in West County.
Linda understands the importance of supporting the El Molino Academy; a viable, financially responsible, and innovative program to create a community high school program at the El Molino campus. This initiative will broaden the services we can offer our families and students that seek an excellent high school education that is not specifically targeted at entering a 4-year college.
Linda is also a strong supporter of our superb teachers and programs at Analy.
I look forward to working collaboratively with Linda on next year’s board!— Lewis Buchner
Board Vice President
Linda is a “get-er-done” kind of gal! Anything she takes on she does it with gusto, grace and goodwill! I have known Linda for over 50 years and she will make an amazing school trustee with her background as a teacher and a union President! She will support our teachers, students, staff and Administrators and be an amazing team player with our board! As a 4th generation community member she has the best interest of our schools and our community in mind and will help us keep moving forward with the great programs we have at Analy, Laguna and our online Academy AND help us forge forward with our new program we hope to soon open at our former El Molino campus. Linda believes that every student deserves the education that best fits their needs; whether it be college bound, the trades, or somewhere in between! Please join me in supporting and voting for Linda Tighe Helton for WSCUHSD Trustee on Nov. 5th! — Bassett Fernandes Jeanne

I had the privilege of working with Linda Helton in the Gravenstein School District as both a colleague and as a member of our teacher's association. I saw firsthand what an amazing and dedicated educator Linda was at our middle school. Additionally, Linda served as our union president for many years as well as our union negotiator. She was a wonderful resource for our teaching staff as she understood the inner workings of our district, specifically when it came to the budget and our contract. She is dedicated, hard-working, and wants the best for our community. She wholeheartedly has my endorsement for West County school board trustee. — Allie Brown
